Honduras Marcala are grains from the COMSA cooperative, which operates in the La Paz region and brings together small farmers. The taste of this coffee is dominated by notes of nut, cane sugar and chocolate. It is sweet and almost acid-free. We fired it a bit darker so that it tasted good when brewed in automatic coffee machines. From our Honduras you will get a sweet and aromatic espresso, which will also be the basis of delicious milk coffees.

Where does the grain come from?

The Honduras Marcala is a blend of the botanical varieties Caturra, Typica and Bourbon. The beans come from the southern department of La Paz near the town of Marcala, where the COMSA cooperative operates. The coffee there is grown at an altitude of 1100-1200 m above sea level and has been processed washed.

Why did we choose them?

You liked the character of Mogian Brazil so much that this coffee quickly became our bestseller. For this reason, we wanted to add grains of a similar nature to our offer. Honduras Marcala is a simple, smooth coffee with an average body, high sweetness and almost imperceptible acidity. The first violin here is played by notes of walnut and cane sugar, and the aftertaste also includes chocolate.

How is it profiled? What do we especially recommend?

Honduras Marcala is our next offer for owners of automatic coffee machines. Its character and a slightly darker roasting profile mean that in the cup you will find high sweetness, a short chocolate aftertaste and a pleasant medium body. Honduras is especially recommended as a base for milk coffees, but espresso lovers will not be disappointed either.
